I have not yet seen the first issue of Le Monde Poétique; it awaits me at home and will soon find it there. I am very embarrassed by your proposal to choose myself one of your collaborators who would like to do a job on my works. I do not have to distinguish between these writers, all conscientious and among whom I believe I only have literary friends. I therefore leave you absolutely free, my dear Brother, to follow your inspiration and theirs in this, and I thank you for having reserved for me a place in this series of poets that interest you.
