(MISTRAL Writer). Paper at the head of the MUSEON ARLATEN, in ARLES, founded by Frédéric MISTRAL in 1899. Letter signed by Count FERRAND BENOIT, Historian and Archaeologist (1892 - 1969), Curator (after Mistral's death in 1914), on 24 April 1937. "Sir. Before I answered you, I wanted to have the opinion of the Museon Arlaten Committee. The Museum has a number of antique fabrics, costumes and hats;... The museum does not make loans outside, according to Mistral's foundation contract, and it is only in exceptional cases that there are still a few pieces outside Arles."
