Russian painter and art theorist Vladimir Weisberg works in particular on the theme of colourism as the problem that arose after Cézanne's work, namely unsaturated colour and semi-colour. He worked on pigment differentiation and in 1960 created a table of the main types of colour perception, their sign and structure.
He will try all his life to find the right balance between semitone, composition and drawing in a softness and subtlety that is characteristic of him.
