ANGERS (49). NANTES (44). MARINE. Handwritten memory of 3pp in-folio. Account signed by the Aristocrat LEDUC DES VERGERS marin, made in Angers on December 16, 1760, on the occasion of his embarkation on a ship in NANTES. Inventory of his luxurious effects bought for his trip: "jackets of pluches of silk, brushes and scraper, powders and ointments, hat edged in gold, handkerchiefs, a frock chest, pairs of stockings, seven fine shirts, trimmed, new sic collars, eight pairs of pumps ...". "Two new pluche jackets and two new pluche breeches, one blue and one red for my use on the ship in cold weather..." advances to be taken from his mother's estate.
