Edition illustrated with free colour etchings by Jean Traignier. 1/300 on vellum ; 2/NERCIAT (A. de): The Libertine Morning. Versailles, for the Friends of the Good Old Times, undated. In-8 paperback. 8 illustrations (fake etchings with dummy bowl) in non-text colours and 81 line drawings in the margins enhanced in stencil colours. NICE EDITION COPYING THE ILLUSTRATIONS OF GASTON TRILLEAU PUBLISHED A FEW MONTHS BEFORE. Dutel indicates that the illustrations in this edition are by Marcel Jeanjean. A simple comparison shows that it is in fact a reprise (copy) almost identical to the illustrations given a few months earlier by Jean-Gilles Legendre alias Gaston Trilleau for the same work (Dutel, n°1939). Edition at 212 copies, this one 1/200 Rives; 3/Cahiers d'Amour; "les Joies secrètes" by Philippe de B...Paris, 1949. Large in-8 brocaded. Work condemned on February 27, 1950. Illustrated with 24 in and 6 out of text in very free colors by Hand. The text signed Philippe de B... is attributed to P. Geraldy. Copy on Rives vellum.
