Military leave made in PHALSBOURG (57) April 14, 1792, signed by the Council of the 25th Infantry Regiment and General LAMARCHE (François Joseph Drouot dit) as Colonel of the 5th Regiment of HUSSARDS, Chief Military Commander in Phalsbourg. Leave of absence for Henry BARATTE Soldat, a native of the Jura, aged 40, who served with honour and loyalty from 1772 until 1790, when he was reformed, being crippled. He did all the Campaigns of America in the armies of Messrs. De GUICHEN, MONTREUIL and GRACE. He did his service as a Brave. Patent (22 x 29 cm). Stamp of red wax.
