1914-1918 LA GRANDE GUERRE - Original edition, complete in two volumes ( 359 pp. + 421 pages) and published in Paris, by Aristide Quillet, in 1922. Covered with a publisher's cardboard bound in half leather. Smooth spines, gilt of the title and the tomaison, stamped with beautiful decorations. Cold-stamped decorations on the plates. Gilded title on the covers. Rich iconography with numerous illustrations in black and colour (a large folding map in colour, well present at the end of the second volume). A well-preserved set. Reference works on the Great War of 14-18. Christian Pierre René Frogé, known as René Christian-Frogé, was a French poet and writer born on 17 April 1880 in Vernoil-le-Fourrier, near Saumur, and died on 9 March 1958 in Boissy-la-Rivière. In February 1919, he took part in the founding of the Association des écrivains combattants, of which he became the general secretary.
