REVOLUTION. 8 Letters (7 LAS & 1 LA) from the Deputy of BEAUMONT, totaling 21 pages small in-4, to his friend Le Masson, notary in Brûlon, on the events of the Revolution, mainly from Paris in November 1790 to April 1791, one from Le MANS (72) of 1785. Gabriel François Chenon de BEAUMONT [Brûlon / Sarthe 1741 - 1791] - Elected on March 25, 1789 Deputy of the Third to the Estates-General by the Seneschaussée of Maine then to the Constituent Assembly. He was Councillor at the Election of Le Mans under the Ancien-Régime: Paris November 12, 1790 / On the subject of a private matter "...As there are still no assignats in circulation under 200 #, he is therefore well obliged to pay in cash..." "...The sale of the national goods starts to go in various departments: here every day it sells several houses..."
