Edmond DUBOIS (1822-191) Astronome et hydrographe.
Letter A.S., POUL-AR-FEUNTEUN (29) 18 June 1886, to Admiral Mouchez; 4 pages in-8. He has no illusions about his election to the Academy of Sciences: "as long as the section, either of astronomy or of navigation, which is willing to present me, does not put me in the first line, I am sure I will not be nominated [...] You tell me that you think that for the next election I will be put in the first line, let's hope that you will be a good prophet!"... He speaks about poor Martinez, then about the son of Mouchez Charles whom he found very well, and a "charming boy [...] that will make a good naval officer! + Letter A.S. of the Astronomer Félix TISSERAND to the Admiral Mouchez (December 8, 1885), about minutes of meetings.
