Olympic Games. 1928 Amsterdam, set of four pieces, a) two important pieces around the Olympic flame which is here the first appearance : Deft tile representing the tower with the Olympic cauldron, olive laurel mention 9th Olympiad Amsterdam 1928 11,5 x 11,5 cm; commemorative plate with the Olympic motto mention 9th Olympiad with the tower and the Olympic flame (1928 with the rings); broken plate badly repaired but very important, diam 18cm; b) Snuffbox (1985) with on the lid a reproduction of the official poster, the marathon runner with headband. Under the lid, Olympic motto, rings and games of the ninth Olympiad, 1928 Amsterdam. Lower part of purple color. Mention Made in England by Crummless. Diam 6 cm; c) Commemorative plate in white and blue porcelain illustrated Olympische Spelen, Amsterdam 1928. Made in Holland by Petrus Regout in aastricht; dIAM 27,5 CM, SUPERB, RARE.
