An extraordinary and historic close-up view of the famous comet 67P/Churumov-Guerasimenko or "Churi" was discovered by Ukrainian astrophysicists from the University of Kiev (Ukraine) Klim Churumov and Svetlana Gerasimenko on 20 September 1969. It was the subject of a spectacular unprecedented exploration thanks to the sending of a space probe "Rosetta" by the European space agency, whose mission was punctuated by the sending on the ground of the comet of the lander "Philae" on November 12, 2014. The name of the "Rosetta" mission was given in reference to the Rosetta Stone, the fragment of a stele from ancient Egypt which, with three versions of the same text, enabled the deciphering of Egyptian hieroglyphs in the 19th century by the Frenchman Champollion. Chromogenic print of the period. 40 x 50cm with margins. Reference on the front. Legend on the back label.
