"Approved for Printing, MIRABEAU L'AINÉ." - revolutionary text (1790) - 2pp in-4°: "Gentlemen. We see with pleasure, the zeal with which you are animated for the Salvation of the public thing. The goal of our institution being to propagate Patriotism in all parts of the Empire, all the societies of the Friends of the Constitution, must unite by the bonds of the most intimate fraternity, and attach themselves to form only one and same family in order to work together to ensure the triumph of the Laws and Liberty. Let us hope, Gentlemen, that one day the whole Nation will do justice to the purity of our views, and that it will recognize, without difficulty, that the societies of the Friends of the Constitution have contributed to the establishment of Peace and Happiness in this Empire. We hasten to inform you how flattered the Society has been to grant you the affiliation you have requested.
