Genève Lady Tonneau - "Princess Leia" - reference 166.121 Steel city watch with automatic movement. - Round steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed back. - Silver dial, beveled dial in two shades of gray, straight hands, straight central second hand, date window at 3 o'clock. - Red rubber strap, metal pin buckle. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with automatic winding. Movement caliber 1481 - numbered 34.756.399 (circa 1972) Case numbered 166.121 Diameter: 44 mm - Strap length: 16 - 20 cm Produced in the mid-1970s, with a design close to the Dynamic, this saucer-shaped watch has two ovoid sides and a beveled inner flange. With this atypical case in the Omega production, we can name this model 166.121 "Princess Leia" in homage to the hairstyle of the famous heroine of one of the greatest film sagas. A similar model can be found in the Omega Museum of Biel under the reference 2914 (page 480). and sometimes called "cobra" by the amateurs. Condition report: Good general condition, good condition of the dial, use scratches and patina on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised. The actress Carrie Fisher (1956 - 2016) played the role of Princess Leia in the films of the saga Star Wars, created by the filmmaker George Lucas, between 1977 and 1983, then in 2015 and 2017.
