The Genève line represented nearly 60% of Omega's production in the early 1970s. The name Genève was abandoned in favor of the Seamaster line, following the cessation of production activities at the Geneva factory in 1972 and in accordance with Swiss law on the appellation of origin. This range disappeared in 1979. (Source: Voyage à travers le temps, under the direction of Marco Richon, 2007, Manufacture Omega, Geneva, (page 476). Condition report: Good general condition, scratch on the glass at 12 o'clock, wear scratches and patina on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
