Speedmaster PréMoon Ed White - reference ST 105.003 - 65 Mythical chronograph watch in steel with mechanical movement. - Asymmetrical steel case, graduated tachometric bezel in aluminum "dot not 90" painted in white, fluted crown, screwed caseback. - Black dial, luminescent painted baton hour markers, straight white painted hands, perpetual seconds at 9 o'clock, elapsed minutes totalizers (over 30 minutes) at 3 o'clock and hours totalizers (over 12 hours) at 6 o'clock, central arrow second hand for chronograph function painted in white. - Black leather strap, steel pin buckle. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Movement caliber 321 - numbered 24.054.096 (circa 1966) Case numbered ST 105.003 - 65 Diameter: 42 mm - Strap length: 20 cm Among all the chronographs in the history of watchmaking, the Omega Speedmaster PréMoon has a special place. Known to be in the "Standard" equipment of astronauts, the "Speed" for the intimate and passionate, has known many versions, especially to celebrate space missions since 1962. "THE" Speedmaster of Joel Duval is no exception in his quest for rare and special watches. The last version without pushers and without the professionnal mention, it is nicknamed "Ed White" in homage to the astronaut who wore it during the space missions. It is also this model that was tested by Nasa in 1964.
