Dynamic Genève - Day-date - reference 166.0079 Steel city watch with automatic movement. - Steel ellipse case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed back. - Silver dial with blue highlights, painted baton hour markers, straight white painted hands, straight blue painted central second hand, date and day (in English) by window at 3 o'clock. - Black leather strap, vintage steel pin buckle. Case, dial, buckle and movement signed. Movement: mechanical self-winding. (Watch not opened - caliber 752) Diameter: 36 x 42 mm - Strap length: 16 - 20 cm Launched in 1968, the Dynamic was a revolution for Omega. Its elliptical shape was designed to best fit the anatomy of the wrist. With its interchangeable strap system, it was a real success in the 1970s. Presented here with a two-tone dial, light gray in the center and around the edge, a blue ring in between, and a leather strap. A similar model is present in the collection of the Omega Museum of Biel under the reference 117 (page 483 Condition report: Good general condition, accident on the dial at 6 o'clock, wear scratches and patina on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
