NASA. LARGE FORMAT. HUBBLE TELESCOPE. In... - Lot 292 - Vermot et Associés
NASA. LARGE FORMAT. HUBBLE TELESCOPE. In the infinity of Profong Space, the remains of a star have become a supernova. These delicate filaments of gas constitute an atypical space object. These thin blood red shells are in fact the remains of an unstable progenitor star that violently exploded into a supernova about 600 years ago. There are several types of supernova, but for this one, we know that the exploding star was a white dwarf - a Sun-like star in the final stages of its life. Here we are more than 150,000 light-years from Earth, in the southern constellation Dorado. 2013.Vintage chromogenic print. Numbering on front. Label legend on back. 40.6 x 40.6CM with margins.
