King of France 1824 to 1830 - Letter of appointment signed "CHARLES PHILIPPE Fils de France, Frère du Roy, Comte d'ARTOIS, Colonel- General des SUISSES & GRISONS." (Engraved header) - Certify that, with the approval of the King, and by virtue of the power which His Majesty has given us, because of our Charge of Colonel-General of the Swiss & Dragoons, we have appointed the Sieur DIETERICH DE JECLIN DE ROHEN REALTA, of the country of the Grisons, Sub-Lieutenant of the Company of BUGNON in the Swiss regiment of VIGIER, to exercise the Charge of Lieutenant of the Company of LUCHEM in the said Regiment. Done in VERSAILLES (Castle of) on July 17, 1788. Seal under paper of our weapons. Patent (40 x 26 cm) partly engraved.
