The author was the chef of the kitchen of H. E. Cardinal Fesch, uncle of Napoleon I. He lived in rue du Mont-Blanc in Paris. Remarkable treatise on cooking in the early 19th century in Paris and in France. The first edition dates from 1812 and was entitled "Manuel complet d'économie domestique". Very nice period binding. Very good condition of the beautiful binding; a few scattered freckles and a few small rings; small old worm attacks without touching the text.
