He knew until his death on January 31, 1817 the success of his great Art. Complete with the 9 folding plates and its 2 different vignettes on the title pages drawn by Desmarais and engraved by Jubin (kitchen interiors). Attention: the pages between 81 and 96 (pastry) of volume 2 are missing, replaced by a duplicate of page 113 to 128!! probably a mistake of the binder! Wanted and RARE. Good condition of the bindings skilfully restored; very good condition of the plates and paper with some scattered foxing as usual, but not serious.
