Pauline GUIZOT, woman of Letters. Elisabeth-Charlotte-Pauline de Meulan, known as Mme Guizot (1773-1827) was a writer and journalist. She was the daughter of Count Charles de Meulan, King's counselor and then Receiver General of Finances of Paris and Marguerite de Saint-Chamans. She married in 1812 the historian François Pierre Guillaume Guizot, who was to become a Minister and Deputy. Letter A.S. of March 25.
