Louise de BERRY, Duchess of Parma. Louise Marie Thérèse d'Artois (1819-1864), was the daughter of Charles-Ferdinand d'Artois, Duke of Berry and Caroline of Naples and Sicily (Duchess of Berry). On her father's side, Louise was the granddaughter of Charles X of France and the sister of the Count of Chambord, a legitimist pretender to the French throne. She was married to Charles III de Bourbon-Parme, heir to the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza, assassinated on March 27, 1854. Autograph bill signed "Louise" given to ST CLOUD in 1828 for "Melle Eliza LIEVE, chiffonnière de la Cour: Brevet."
