It depicts a handsome cyclist from 1888, with cap, moustache, knee-length pants and cycling shoes... He symbolizes modern man, in love with a new freedom less restrictive than the horse, here overwhelmed. This machine, with its gooseneck, front brake, chain guard and front and rear mudguards, is as aerial as its rider. Could this be a color test? In any case, this blue is very catchy.
