Did Sonia Henie inspire Jean Desaleux, some claim. 47,5x38. Wrapped. TBE. It was here that Jacqueline du Bief became world champion, and ice dancing made its debut. Young Alain Giletti was 8th. Madame du Bief, also an Olympic bronze medallist in 1952, is now 93 years old, proof that ice can keep. Let's hope Paris 2024 doesn't forget to celebrate Madame du Bief, who was also queen of the Molitor ice rink...
