SEINE ET MARNE - Château de la BROSSE à SAINT-OUEN-SUR-MORIN / 1°) Set of 27 boundary surveys, bordurages, arpentages, réarpentages, recollements (in particular enumeration of arable land with a view to leasing or disputes between neighbors) drawn up by surveyors on stamped paper (declared made in as many copies as there are adjoining owners) concerning the Brosse lands, from 1784 to 1836, some with in-texto plans, the bundle comprising various letters relating to these subjects - The successive owners of the Brosse land concerned are Duc Anne Léon de Montmorency (1784), Montmorency declared emigrant (year 3), Edmé-Joseph Villetard (year 13), Jean-Jérôme Devilliers, guardian appointed by the family council of Edmé-Joseph Villetard, banned following his internment at Charenton (1811), Elisabeth-Félicité Deneuville épouse Villetard is her husband's guardian (1817), Madame Villetard (1824), Saint-Cyr Villetard is attorney-in-fact for his mother Veuve Villetard (1828) / 2°) Private archives of the Chazal family (Léon-Augustin Chazal (1821-1898) owned the château after the Veuve Villetard) : 4 photographs of the château in the early 20th century; 4 photographs circa 1930 (family scenes on the porch); 12 old postcards of the château (3 of which are written by members of the family); 11 autograph letters from members of the Chazal family on Château de la Brosse letterhead (1910s) and 4 postcards addressed to the château; 2 programs of concerts given at the château in 1918 (unique copies with gouache illustrations and handwritten calligraphy).
