Athletics/Colombes/School. Superb elocution poster-chart for CE2: "Le Stade" (jumps, throws, runs)". In this large, beautifully animated image from the early 1950s, the artist introduces children to athletics through a France-England match at the Olympic stadium in Colombes. We see several events taking place simultaneously, and in the foreground, the finish of a 3000m steeplechase, with a French victory (the 71, blue), helping to narrow the gap a little, which was then, according to the scoreboard, in favor of the visitors (65-55). This plate, no. 10, was published by Rossignol of Montmorillon, Vienne. If you turn the plate over, you're invited to visit the Vincennes Zoo. 56X76. Small machure and small stain.
