Women's cycling/Strada/Alfonsina/Giro. Extremely rare photo card featuring the immense Alfonsina Strada-Morini-Messori (1891-1959). Between Lisette and Longo, the greatest cycling champion of her time, and perhaps still of all time: recordwoman of the hour, racing with the men, she took part in the classics with them (winning 37 races against them), and finished the 1925 Giro, after having to give up the 8th stage. We always see the same image of her, but this one is really the most beautiful (14x8.5)... Note the footrest, silk sash, short shorts and bandage under the knee. Very rare. A friend of Girardengo and Coppi, it leaves an indelible mark.
