Cycling/ Demi-Fond/ Velodrome/ Seine/ Gougoltz. Set of 12 fine original press drawings, including 10 anonymous ones on road racing, and two signed:a) on the track, the fierce stayer (18) in a bend (India ink, gouache) by Mour (?) Motet (?) circa 1910 (19.5x30); b) plate depicting the Vélodrome de la Seine during the French 2km championship in 1895, by Georges Hem (29x23, India ink). Showing the entrance to the track, the spectators, Echalié's fall, and perhaps the victory of the whimsical champion from Cannes, Jean Gougoltz (1875-1917), who adopted Swiss nationality and a turtleneck (no relation); a photo is attached. Tear top right, not detrimental to the drawing.
