NASA. Apollo 7/S-IVB mission RENDEZ-VOUS. The stage of the Saturn IV-B rocket photographed from the APOLLO 7 mission command module during the Earth orbit docking maneuvers from an altitude of 125 nautical miles above Earth. The distance between the two spacecraft is approximately 300 meters. The round white disk inside the open panels of the S-IVB stage simulates the docking target for the two spacecraft. In the background, the globe reveals the coastline of Cape Kennedy and the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. October 1968.period chromogenic print on "THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK" paper.
