Nasa. Just one minute after sunrise, a new star rises in the sky over the Kennedy Space Center as Space Shuttle Endeavour (Mission STS-69) lifts off from launch pad 39A. On board are the six crew members and the Space Radar Laboratory (SRL-2). The impressive double column of flames is clearly visible in the still night sky as the space shuttle's two boosters.
