Rocolet, 1655, with privilege of His Majesty. - 3 pp in-4° - The siege of Landrecies, fought over the course of a month in the early summer of 1655, marked an important stage in the confirmation of the Artois region's attachment to France. Louis XIV came in person to review the troops (including the young Vauban) commanded by Clerville the day after the capture of the town.
