SERBIA - Nathalie Queen of Serbia: 2 LAS dated January 3, 1922 and n.d. addressed to a friend. 6 pages in-12. Nice friendly letter also giving some news, but mostly about a charity. She sends her correspondent various offerings for her school, as well as fabrics, which she instructs her to make into clothes.... Born in 1859, daughter of Russian colonel Kechko and Romanian princess Pulchérie Stourdza, she married Prince Milan Obrénovitch IV of Serbia in 1875. Alexander I was born of this marriage. When Milan had her marriage dissolved, Queen Natalie devoted herself to charitable works.
