WAR 39/45 - RUSSIA - Handwritten document. One page in-4: Certificate from Nicolas Astafiew, former Vice-Governor of the province of Karkow, attesting to the spoliation by the Russian state of property located in Kharkow in 1917. The Germans having hinted that they would return property seized by the Soviets in 1917, ceretificats were drawn up and signed by the former owners. This one is a rare example.
