This work brings together "Amélina, ou la conquête des Espagnols", by M. Baignoux; "Godefroy et les flibustiers" and "Augustin, ou la Révolte des Noirs", by M. A***. The anonymity seems to have been lifted, as Alexandre Duboy, Godefroy et Augustin, ou deux épisodes de l'Histoire de Saint-Domingue, avec une notice sur la découverte de cette île (Alexandre Duboy, Godefroy and Augustin, or two episodes in the history of Saint-Domingue, with a note on the discovery of this island) appeared in 1846 with the same publisher... One of the very few historical accounts of Saint-Domingue published before 1874. A fine copy.
