WAR 14-18 - 67ème Régiment d'Infanterie / Unique, richly illustrated copy of "Notre Vieux 67ème- Historique du 2 août 1914 au 29 juin 1919" by former commander André FOUBERT, printed in 1965 by Imprimerie Saint-Antoine in Soissons, presumably on author's account, 90 p on glossy paper (14 x 22 cm), signed binding by André Maylander in Paris (invoice preserved) in red half-maroquin with banded boards, spine with gilt title and date, and inlay of the regiment's insignia in enamel on the first cover and gilt top edge - this is the copy of Robert Sichel, the author's comrade-in-arms in this regiment, which distinguished itself in Champagne and on the Chemin des Dames. Robert Sichel has preserved all his souvenirs, including photographs of the period, the many letters received from André Foubert and other combatant friends, the various speeches, articles and accounts given at commemorative meetings of veterans.
