SOMME (80) / Marcotte family archives from Abbeville and Thuisson, more than 100 documents, notably from Jean-Baptiste Marcotte, mocatier (upholstery fabric manufacturer), and François Marcotte, cloth weaver and baracanier (manufacturer of baracant, thick, tightly-woven wool), several receipts from the procurators of the Saint-Honoré d'Abbeville Carthusian monastery for land leases (mid-18th c.), his descendant was the town's bi-librarian, numerous deeds of sale and inheritance (expeditions) of land or property in Abbeville (from Louis XV to Charles X), some family correspondence and memoirs.
