Handwritten memoir, circa 1743, signed Jean Maximilien D'AUBARÈDE (Lyon/Rhône 1721 - Bourg-en-Bresse/ Ain 1815) who was a former Lieutenant-Colonel of Infantry in the Régiment de la Sarre - "Mémoire instructif de la situation des affaires et de Mr Guillaume Claude D'AUBARÈDE relativement aux biens qu'il a possédé en qualité de donataire universelle de ses père et mère, et où l'on rencontre l'inutilité et combien il serait onéreux à ses créanciers de plaider pour avoir l'adjudication des dits biens."
