Louise de BERRY, DUCHESSE DE PARME. Louise Marie Thérèse d'Artois (1819-1864), was the daughter of Charles-Ferdinand d'Artois, Duc de Berry and Caroline of Naples and Sicily (Duchess of Berry). On her father's side, Louise was the granddaughter of Charles X of France and sister of the Comte de Chambord, a Legitimist pretender to the French throne. She was married to Charles III de Bourbon-Parme, Crown Prince of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza, assassinated on March 27, 1854 - Autograph bill signed "Louise" given in ST CLOUD in 1828. for "Melle Eliza LIEVE, chiffonnière de la Cour: Brevet."
