Very beautiful and original modernist ring in two-tone 18K 750 thousandths yellow and white gold, set with a large oval amethyst in a closed setting and shouldered by a triple gadroon, the shoulders in a drop of sugarloaf-cut emeralds in a rail setting, the setting brushed. Traces of a master hallmark. A similar model dated 1938, serving as inspiration, appears in the book René Boivin Joaillier by Françoise Caille, published by Editions de l'Armateur on page 73.
