The Marquis de Soyecourt invested in the marketing of an Antiputric Water, whose secret the Physician had discovered, "the plague itself ceased to be a scourge." then in the Forges of Lorraine and Barrois. These Associates asked him to provide the funds for the Société Chymique, and he was urged to provide the advances for his portion of the funds stipulated by the Société Métallurgique. It is a curious thing to see the state of these advances...The Marquis de Soyecourt seeks only the repayment of his funds, and exemption from the cruel necessity of risking new ones...".
