REVOLUTION. 1791. LOIR-ET-CHER. Law relating to the valuation of WOODLAND FORESTS. Given in Paris on July 20, 1791. "All woods under the age of 30 will be deemed coppice,... Existing woods over thirty years old will be estimated at their current value... Evaluation of income from forests managed as regulated cuttings... when a plot of land is exploited as a peat bog, its income will be evaluated for the ten years following the start of peat harvesting, at double the amount of the previous year...".
