JUDGEMENT OF LOUIS XVI, 1792. "JUDGEMENT DE LOUIS CAPET". Decrees of the National Convention of November 29, 1792; "Suppression of the Criminal Court established by the Law of August 17 last December 6, 1792 "JUDGMENT OF LOUIS CAPET" (in 8 articles.) "1) The Commission of 24, the Committees of Legislation of General Safety will appoint each 3 members who will meet with the Commission of 12. 2°) The Commission of 21 Members will present on Monday morning, the Enunciative Act of the crimes of which LOUIS CAPET is accused; it will put in a suitable order all the documents in support of this Act. 3° In the Tuesday session, the Commission will present the series of questions to be put to LOUIS CAPET. 4) In its Monday session, the Convention will discuss LOUIS CAPET'S ACTE ÉNONCIATIF DES CRIMES. 5) The next day, LOUIS CAPET will be brought before the Convention, to hear the reading of this Act, and to answer the questions put to him, solely through the President. 6) The day after this appearance before the Bar, THE NATIONAL CONVENTION will pronounce on LOUIS CAPET'S FATE, by roll call; each member will present himself at the Tribune. 7) The National Convention instructs the Executive Council, under its responsibility, to take all necessary measures for general safety during the course of LOUIS CAPET's trial." - Printed in DOUAI (Nord), by MARLIER, printer for the Département du Nord.
