NAPOLÉON forms "4 RÉGIMENTS DE GARDES D'HONNEUR A CHEVAL" - "SÉNAT CONSERVATEUR" (letterhead) - The Conservative Senate, on April 3, 1813, decrees that a force of 180,000 Men is placed at the disposal of the Ministry of War, to augment the active Armies (Grande Armée), namely: 10,000 Men of the mounted Honor Guard; 80,000 Men to be called up on the first ban of the National Guard; 90,000 Men from the conscription of 1814, who were destined for the western and southern frontiers, and especially for the shipyards of Antwerp, Cherbourg, Lorient, Rochefort and Toulon. - Décret Impérial relatif à l'Organisation de quatre Régiments de GARDE D'HONNEUR...
