Raymond HAINS (1926-2005) La Biennale éclatée, 1976. 7 original serigraphs and a reproduction of Hains' original torn poster "Venezia Viva (1975)", in a printed cardboard folio. The prints reproduce the catalog covers of some of the national entries to the Venice Biennales. Each silkscreen signed by the artist and numbered 13/120. Published by Galleria l'Elefante, Venice, Italy. 70 x 80 cm. This lot entered the European Union under the temporary importation customs procedure. In accordance with current regulations, this regime will have to be regularized either by re-exporting the lot outside the European Union, accompanied by a duly approved letter of landing and the required customs documents, or by paying the VAT and import duties applicable in the case of release for consumption in the Union. In the event of retention in France, import VAT at the reduced rate of 5.5% will be added to the auction price. This lot was imported into the European Union under the temporary admission customs regime. In accordance with applicable regulations, this regime must be regularised either by re-exporting the lot outside the European Union, accompanied by a duly approved landing certificate and the required customs documentation, or by paying the applicable import duties and VAT should the lot be released for free circulation within the Union. If the lot is retained in France, an import VAT at the reduced rate of 5.5% will be added to the hammer price.
