The Galilean moons Europa (left), Ganymede (center) and Io are visible. Io's shadow is just beginning to cross Jupiter's cloud tops on the right. In addition to the main moons, the ring moon Amalthea and its eclipsing shadow are also visible on Jupiter's cloud tops. They are located almost along the equator.
