Albert de PRINS (Roubaix 1818-1911, painter) / "Lion", oil on panel signed lower right, dedicated to V. de Iw[?] and dated 1880, presented in its original frame with cartouche with the painter's name, gilded wooden frame with keys, label of the framer Dangleterre rue de Seine in Paris (House founded in 1833), some paint leaks around the edges due to the framing, frame with a few knocks (panel 20.5 x 27 cm, frame 33.5 x 40 cm) - The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lille conserves an oil on canvas by Albert de Prins representing a "Furious Lion".
