Jean-Pierre DARLO-Set photographer / Important and rare set of39 original vintage 1933 silver photographs for the 1933 film "JOCELYN" byPierre GUERLAIS(1894-1945, indicted for collaboration, committed suicide in prison), screenplay by Pierre Guerlais, based on the poem of the same name by Alphonse de Lamartine, starring Marguerite Weintenberger (Laurence) and Samson Fainsilber (Jocelyn), shot at Les Guillaumes in the Alpes Maritimes - a sentimental drama: the loves of a young seminarian, Joselyn, and the young aristocrat Laurence, who take refuge in the mountains to escape the revolutionaries(This set comes from the archives of actor Samson FAINSILBER) - The photographs are divided as follows: - 1 private photograph of the participants in the shoot with the camera, unsigned (24.3 x 18 cm) - 2 private photographs of the actors, unsigned: picnic (11.6 x 8.6 cm) and actors taking a break (11.5 x 6.6 cm) - 20 photographs on strong paper, signed in the numbered "Photo Darlo" plate (23.4 x 17.3 cm): 2 - 6 - 15 - 19 - 26 - 36 - 37- 38 - 46 - 50 - 51 - 52 - 59 - 64 - 74 - 75 - 110 - 122 - 129 - 132- 5 photographs on strong paper, unsigned, numbered (23.4 x 17.3 cm): 9 - 54 - 61 - 63 - 114 - 8 photographs on plain paper signed in the "Photo Darlo" plate numbered (24.5 x 18 cm): 5 - 11 - 12 - 23 - 28 - 31 -32 - 53 - 3 photographs on plain paper unsigned, numbered (11.5 x 8.6 cm): 5 - 6 - 16
