[after NIKI de SAINT-PHALLE] / "Poisson globe", paper maché sculpture (height 30 cm, diameter base 16 cm) created in the 70s by a student of Niki de Saint-Phalle during one of the artist's ephemeral Graphic Arts workshops - For Niki, self-taught, Art was first and foremost an outlet, and her feminist activism led her to improvise ephemeral women's workshops, in line with her conviction that "in the field of art, men have now exhausted everything, and it's up to women to create something new" (interview with Niki by Dino Buzzati) - This work was created by a short-lived companion of Niki de Saint-Phalle's.
