Goossens, 1918, original edition with a total print run of 350 copies, this one 1 of 50 justified (no. 37) with black continuation of the 18 plates (in sheets in-fine), intended for "very precious drinkers and very illustrious gourmets" plus the launch prospectus (double-page specimen), paperback with filled illustrated soft cover, 30 p (25 x 33 cm), this caption tells the origin of the Brussels dish "les choesels", the expression is imitated from the style of Rabelais, copy enriched with a signed autograph dispatch from Roméo Dumoulin "to my dear and devoted little wife, my first illustrated work, published during the third year of the war", Brussels, July 24, 1918 (used condition, some foxing, soiling and dusting).
