Louis SUIRE (1899-1987, painter and illustrator) / "Vieilles Chansons du Pays d'Ouest" presented by Henri Clouzot, watercolors by Louis Suire, La Rochelle, A la Rose des Vents, 1939, a rare offprice copy on Annam justified and signed by Louis Suire (initial run of 400 copies), paperback in a titled illustrated softcover, with a color suite of the 30 watercolors, the first is signed and captioned in pencil in his own hand, the whole is presented in a hard cover with laces, unpaginated (140), it is clearly stated that all the illustrations were watercolored by hand by the artist, this copy enriched with an important autograph letter signed by Louis Suire to the printer of the work Jean Foucher, "A Monsieur Jean Foucher à qui ce livre doit sa belle tenue typographique".
